Kalimah Redd Knight currently serve as senior deputy director of media relations of Tufts University. Prior to that, she was a deputy director and an associate director of pubic relations (division name change) at the University. As a senior deputy director, Kalimah focuses on proactive and responsive media relations for Tufts, with an emphasis on producing high-visibility and high-impact media placements about faculty scholarship, university programming, and student accomplishments. She also supports the mitigation of issues and crisis communications management at the University. In 2021, she received the Tufts Distinction Award, which recognizes outstanding faculty and staff accomplishments across the university that exemplify leadership and innovation with integrity and a collaborative spirit.
